Accepted items at Sunnybrook transfer station
Yard waste/compost
Household materials (such as oil and filters, antifreeze, paint and oil containers)
Batteries (such as car batteries, rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries, cell phones and cell phone batteries)
White metals (such as appliances, intact refrigerators, freezers and enamel-coated products)
Other metals (such as scrap metals, rebar)
Construction and demolition waste (such as drywall, painted/stained lumber, pressure-treated wood, etc.)
Tires
Clean non-toxic wood material
Miscellaneous materials (such as furniture)

Prohibited items
Dead animals
Asphalt shingles
Railways ties
