Trail Clean Up Day

Posted on Monday June 22, 2020 at 01:38PM

Thorsby Communities In Bloom and the Thorsby Lions Club are partnering up to host a Trail Clean Up Day June 27 from 10:00-2:00

Our plan is to prune branches, trim tall grass, move some mulch into wet areas and remove a few trees that have fallen across or along the trails. If you can volunteer a few hours we would really appreciate it.

We could use a few additional tools such as :
- Weed Trimmers
- Power Saws
- Hand Pruners
- Rakes
- Shovels

( If you are using power equipment we ask that you bring your own Personal Protective Equipment such as eye protection and gloves and it may be a good idea to wear good footwear as some areas will be wet or slippery)

You are responsible for your own equipment and it’s care. We will have some larger equipment on location as well to move mulch into a few areas

Join us at the Lions Camp ground at 10:00 and will be providing water, pop, chips and hot dogs to the volunteers that come out to help.

By working together we can all make a difference in our community by maintaining the Thorsby NetWork Of Trails
