Economic Development Strategy and Action Plan
Posted on Thursday August 06, 2020 at 02:48PM
The Town of Thorsby was successful in securing economic development dollars through the Provincial Coal Transition Program. We selected the Central Alberta Economic Partnership (C.A.E.P.) to gather and provide the data and services to meet the terms of the funding program, and to advance our economic development efforts in a professional and timely manner.
We are now seeking the support of Thorsby and area residents, businesses and community groups to help formulate the Economic Development Strategy and Action Plan for the Town, through local input, knowledge and ideas. Remember, it's your community, your thoughts and ideas are vital to help build the framework to grow a preferred resilient and viable community where business and people succeed. .
We invite you to please join Kimberley Worthington of the Central Alberta Economic Partnership on Tuesday, August 11th, 4:00 - 6:30 p.m. at the Seniors Centre to help with this important economic development piece for out community.
All AHS protocols will be in place: Social distancing, hand sanitizer, and masks will be available.
