Water Treatment Plant Paid Off!

The Town of Thorsby is proud to announce that as of March 15, 2026, we have officially paid off the $1,000,000 Water Treatment Plant Debenture that was entered into on Apr 29, 2009.  The Water Treatment Plant is one of the important assets of the town, allowing us to explore water distribution to other communities to maximize it's potential and increase revenue.

This is a major financial milestone for our community as it allows the Town of Thorsby to focus on other community infrastructure priorities. Thank you to our residents, staff, and Council for supporting strong and sustainable municipal operations for the future of Thorsby.
