Solid Waste Collection Survey

Based on resident requests to Administration, the Town of Thorsby is conducting a survey to determine whether the community would like to return to weekly garbage pickup for the additional cost the Town of Thorsby would incur.

This decision will affect every resident in Thorsby, and it is important to make your voice heard.

The survey is available online, in the Connect 39, and in-person at the Town Office. If filled out physically, you can submit the filled-in form by scanning and emailing it to info@thorsby.ca or by dropping it off at the Town Office during business hours or through the mail-slot after hours.

The deadline for all survey responses is September 17th, 2026 by 4:30pm. Any survey responses received after that deadline will not be included in the final tally. Only valid surveys will be counted and the result will be based on the majority response of those received.
