The Town of Thorsby has contracted Metercor Inc. to replace all water meters in Thorsby. Many of Thorsby’s existing meters are aging and nearing the end of their service life and replacing them helps ensure water use can be measured accurately.

This upgrade will allow for:

  • More precise measurement of water use helps ensure residents are billed fairly.
  • Early leak detection.
  • The meters can help identify unusual or continuous water use that may indicate a leak.
  • Better information for residents.

There is no cost to residents for the meter installation or replacement.
