NOTICE: Utility Bills Amid Canada Post Strike

November 27 2024

The Town of Thorsby has received information that Canada Post has changed their rules regarding local postage amidst the on-going strike. Canada Post has now determined that they will not deliver local mail to local Post Office boxes in addition to not delivering to non-local locations. This decision has nothing to do with the Town of Thorsby.

To receive your utility bills for December the following options are available:

  1. Come into the Town Office to collect your monthly Utility Bill.
  2. Call the Town Office and we will, until the strike has concluded, email you a copy of your utility bill.

Please note that all deadlines and penalties are still in effect during the strike.
