Notice of Water Main Break

FINAL UPDATE:
The water main break has been fixed and we thank everyone for their patience and diligence. The teams were off station at 1:30am but water is back on.

UPDATE:
As of 9:00pm, the team and contractors will begin the process of precision drilling and be able to identify the exact type of break involved. It is unlikely that the team and contractors will be off station before 2:00am.
We thank residents for neighbours for bringing out hot fresh coffee for our crew and contractors and appreciate everyone's continued understanding and patience as we work through the night to resolve the main break.

UPDATE:
As of 6:11pm the water main break location has been found and efforts are under way to dig in and reach the break. There is no ETA on completion.

As of the afternoon of January 4th 2023, there is a water main break at 53rd Avenue.
The affected streets and avenues are as follows:
55th Street
54th Street
53rd Street
53rd Avenue
54th Avenue
and 52nd Street between 54th Ave and 52nd Ave.
Public Works and the Town's delegated contractors are working diligently to fix the break and return services to normal as soon as possible.
